Auditions for THE ADDAMS FAMILY

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of your time slot. Up to three people can sign up in each 15 minute time slot. When you arrive, you will check in with the audition assistant. Names on the sign-up sheet are visible only to the production directors.

If you do not wish to sign up for a slot, you may still arrive the day of auditions, but you will be fit in whenever there is an opening. Those who have signed up ahead of time will be seen first during that time slot.

AUDITIONS: December 9 & 10, beginning at 7:00 PM

CASTING: 6 men, 4 women, & a large ensemble. A full description of characters can be found on the CP website. Genders are as defined by the playwright. Community Players takes an inclusive stance towards casting.

WHAT TO DO: Those auditioning will be asked to read a cutting from the script and sing a 16- to 24-bar cut of a musical theatre selection of your choosing. Please bring sheet music or upload it below as an accompanist will be provided.

Rehearsals and performances will cover approximately seven weeks, beginning with a read-through on Tuesday, Dec. 17 commencing with a final performance on Sunday, Feb. 23. There will be a break from rehearsals between Dec. 19 - Jan. 1.

Rehearsals are held Monday - Friday, 7-10 PM.

No conflicts are allowed during the final two weeks of rehearsals (Feb. 3-13, including the only weekend rehearsal on Sunday, Feb. 9)

This show will have six public performances, Friday - Sunday, Feb 14-16 and 21-23.
